Title: Recorder Shred!!

Here is one of my favourite Vivaldi pieces. Some great playing in this imo with great pedals and arps. This is the sort of material I mostly try to learn now. I never really try and play any rock related stuff nowadays.

Great vid ID. The guy on recorder is obviously great on his chosen instrument. He does make me laugh at some points in the peice though because he sort of throws some shapes and his face is really amusing whilst he's playing :D . Great music any way.
Interesting what you say about not learning any new rock stuff ID. I can see where you are coming from with that as it is nice to try a something a bit different on the old rock geetar rather than churning out old yngwie solos.

Yeah he does pull some faces, lol! All good soloists do I suppose. I find learning this stuff refreshing and very challenging. All your neoclassical techniques are in these pieces and it's great to learn them at what you could call grass roots level.

I think the recorder was the first instrument I picked up in primary school - I quickly put it back down again. I wasn't very good.
