Title: How Do I get rid of excess bass/humming?

The"bass- humming" makes my playing sound messy.

I don't think it's my bad technique cause I've tried on another person's gear and my playing sounds normal.

I've even turned down the bass on my tonelab and amp but it still doesn't make any difference .

It sounds like it might be your amp or effects pedal. It might be that because you said it sounded better on some other gear. Maybe you should buy another pedal that is what I ended up doing.

Sounds like your amp. You could try setting all the levels to minimum and then raise them one by one to see if the problem's in the tone.

i get the same kind of thing with my marshall, its how the amp sounds in my case, may be for yours as well. Could also be the strings buzzing too much.

Sounds like the amp itself is vibrating...like something is loose or poor construction.
